Spanish Courses in Madrid As a member of the A.E.E.E.M. (Asociación de Escuelas de Español de Madrid) and F.E.D.E.L.E. (Federacion Nacional de escuelas de espanol como lengua extranjera), Academia Madrid PLUS is capable of preparing students for these examinations. Teachers working at the school are qualified to prepare D.E.L.E.. Every year we have a pass rate of 95% approximately. CORRESPONDENCE BETWEN LEVELS SUGGESTED BY THE *MCER AND DELE EXAMINATIONS
*COMON FRAME OF EUROPEAN REFERENCE DESCRIPTION OF THE DIFFERENT LEVELS Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official titles which certify the candidate’s competence of the Spanish language. They are awarded by the Cervantes Institute in the name of the Ministry of Education of Spain. LEVEL A1: Diploma in Spanish Level A1 proves that there is enough linguistic ability to understand and to use everyday expressions frequently used in the Spanish-speaking world. LEVEL A2: Diploma in Spanish Level A2 proves that the candidate is able to understand everyday phrases and expressions that are related to areas of experience that are especially relevant to him/her (background information, places of interest, occupation, shopping etc.). LEVEL B1: Diploma in Spanish Level B1 (previously known as Initial level) proves that there is enough linguistic ability to understand and properly react to common situations of everyday life and to communicate at a basic level desires and needs. LEVEL B2: Diploma in Spanish Level B2 (previously known as Intermediate level) proves that there is enough linguistic ability to discuss situations in everyday life where specialized language is not required. LEVEL C1: Diploma in Spanish Level C1 proves that there is enough linguistic ability for the candidate to express themselves clearly using a broad range of lexical skills as well as idiomatic and colloquial expressions. * (The level C1 will just be managed starting from the call for November 2010) LEVEL C2: Diploma in Spanish Level C2 (Superior) proves that the candidate has mastered a high level of language use which can be used a wide variety of situations and has acquired considerable knowledge of habits and customs in Spanish culture. The exams we prepare will be held in the year 2012 on: May 25th, August 24th and Nov 09th.The course preparations for these exams are provided by Madrid PLUS with a minimum of three persons in a class and a maximum of ten. Every class will be an hour and a half in length, twice a week (Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday) from 19:00 to 20:30, or daily in the morning, from 13:00 to 14:30. The price is the same as the evening classes and
the course duration will be between eight and twelve weeks.
